The new truck on order with Pierce Manufacturing was orderedearlier this year. After preconstruction plans were finalized, the truck has hit the assembly line. You can follow the progress of the truck on this page. When completed, the truck will have a 105 foot aerial, 450 gallons of water and be capable of accomodating four firefighters.
The final inspection of Truck 1 is complete and the minor additions or changes are underway. It is expected that the truck will be delivered to Minuteman in Walpole late next week where the final tools will be installed. The truck should be delivered to Beverly by late October.
The truck has made the trip to Walpole and even made a brief apperance at 15 Hale St for station fitting. With a successful dry fit in headquarters, the truck returned to Walpole for equipment mounting. The truck should be here in 2 to 3 weeks.
