Media
This video was taken at a third alarm fire in which Beverly Firefighters worked to contain a significant volume of hidden fire. The first several minutes are difficult to follow but ar a depiction of what firefighters face when they enter a structure fire. Later in the video, ventilation of the area the crews worked in allowed better visibility.
Media
This video is of a car fire that followed a motor vehicle accident. The car on fire was parked when it was struck by another vehicle. The impact ruptured the fuel tank and the leaking gasoline ignited. Crews used water from the Pumps booster tank to knock down the fire but needed a dry chemical extinguisher to fully extinguish the burning gasoline. The explosions you hear and see are tires bursting.
